The Vietnam Journal of Science, Technology and Engineering (VJSTE) is the official scientific publication of the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam. Established in 1959, it has long been recognised as one of the country’s most prestigious scientific journals. In its commitment to becoming an internationally recognised journal, VJSTE transitioned to publishing entirely in English in 2017. This transformation supports its goal of meeting the standards required by leading global indexing databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. Each quarterly issue includes between 13 and 17 peer-reviewed articles, with four issues published annually.
As of June 16, 2025, the journal is affiliated with the Vietnam Institute of Science and Technology Strategy under the Ministry of Science and Technology.
